Winter Indoor Tennis Instruction for Grades K and 1 with ALL PRO TENNIS
The Ridgewood Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with ALL PRO TENNIS, is currently taking registration for indoor tennis lessons for young tennis enthusiasts, grades K and 1.
This introductory program will cover the fundamentals of tennis, work on the development of eye/hand coordination, change of direction, proper stance, and stroke techniques. All classes will be instructed by professional staff in a small group setting with a non-competitive atmosphere.
Instruction will be offered Saturday mornings, for five weeks from Jan. 9 through Feb. 6 (Feb. 13 will be for makeup if needed). Each class is 45 minutes in duration.
Choose from the following sessions:
- 9:30 to 10:15 a.m.
- 10:15 to 11:00 a.m.
- 11:00 to 11:45 a.m.
- 11:45 to 12:00 noon
All classes will be held indoors at Willard School, 601 Morningside Road (California Avenue entrance). The fee is $ 75.00 per participant
Children are to wear sneakers and bring a junior size tennis racket to each class.
Registration can be made in person or by mail to the Recreation Office, The Stable, 259 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood. You can locate the registration form on the Recreation homepage at www.ridgewoodnj.net. The office is open weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. All classes will be filled on a first come/first serve basis.
