DeSimone Declared School Business Admin of the Year

Award provides for a $2,000 scholarship to a Ridgewood student.

A group representing school boards has selected Ridgewood Public Schools' Angelo DeSimone as the business administrator of the year for 2012.

DeSimone, who is scheduled to retire at the end of the year, was previously named the business adminstrator of the year for New Jersey's northern region by the New Jersey School Association of School Business Officials (NJASBO). He'll be recognized by the group in June.

Apart from receiving some a few pats on the back, a Ridgewood student will be eligible for a $2,000 scholarship from the NJASBO.
