Glen Rock Falls to Hopatcong in NJSIAA Softball Tourney

Glen Rock's softball season ended Tuesday afternoon following a 4-2 loss to Hopatcong (9) in the opening round of the NJSIAA softball tournament. Hopatcong’s ace Sam Kufta struck out nine batters and only allowed one hit over the last three innings.
Despite being the higher seeded team and having a slightly better regular season record, Glen – ranked 8 – just couldn’t string any hits together. The Panthers finished the year with a 13-11 record.
