Glen Rock Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Borough man allegedly had images of pre-pubescent children engaging in sexual acts on his computer.

A 75-year-old Glen Rock man was arrested Friday for allegedly possessing child pornography, according to Glen Rock Police.

According to Glen Rock Police Chief Frederick Stahman, an investigation revealed William Godleski possessed "numerous" images of prebuscent children engaged in sexual acts on his personal computer.

Godleski, of South Maple Avenue, was arrested without incident and formally charged with endangering the welfare of a minor by possessing child pornography, a fourth degree charge.

The investigation was led by borough police and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Computer Crimes Task Force.

Godleski was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned on May 7.
