Plans to have a controversial handicap ramp fully installed by the start of summer could be undone by Trenton, Village Manager Ken Gabbert said Wednesday night.
Under discussion for roughly two years, the council several months ago voted to accept a $40,000 community block grant. When plans were finalized, it was revealed the council would only have to chip in about $8,000 of its own money.
The village projected completion of the controversial project by the start of the summer.
The state, however, is still reviewing the final design plans.
"Hopefully Trenton will make a quick turnaround," Gabbert said.
