Husky puppy found in Ridgewood on Feb. 5, 2013.

Update at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday: The dog has been retrieved by its owner, the resident tells Patch.

A concerned Ridgewood resident is hoping the owner of a beautiful husky puppy comes forward and claims the pooch.

The resident says the husky is female, with a pink collar. The dog does not have any identification. She was found in the area of East Glen/Northern Parkway at about 2 p.m.

The dog appears in good health.

If anyone has a facebook. Recommend it and it will post to your page the more that see if hopefully someone will know the owner who is missing her.

The town should start calling all registered dog owners who have a husky. If they find out this dog wasn't registered, the owners should face a stiff fine.
