Update at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday: The dog has been retrieved by its owner, the resident tells Patch.
A concerned Ridgewood resident is hoping the owner of a beautiful husky puppy comes forward and claims the pooch.
The resident says the husky is female, with a pink collar. The dog does not have any identification. She was found in the area of East Glen/Northern Parkway at about 2 p.m.
The dog appears in good health.

The town should start calling all registered dog owners who have a husky. If they find out this dog wasn't registered, the owners should face a stiff fine.

That's a pretty dog! I'd be beside myself if it were my dog, and it ran off!
