Lehigh's Telesco Named Lax Rookie of the Week

Former Ridgewood star turned in excellent performances against rivals.

Former Maroon stalwart Tripp Telesco has been a real menace for opponents in his rookie season at Lehigh University.

Following a series of strong performances – including one in a nationally-televised match – the freshman was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week.

The Ridgewood native had two groundballs against UMass, holding opposing attacker Connor Mooney pointless in the game. In Lehigh's win over rival Holy Cross, he held its leading scorer to a single goal.
