'Relay for Life' Raises Big Money

The 2013 weekend event in Glen Rock brought more than $125,000 dollars to charity.

Glen Rock's annual "Relay for Life" event raised a total of $137,000 for cancer research and treatment this year, according to a news report.

The Glen Rock Gazette is reporting that as many as 1,000 people descended upon the high school track area this past weekend, with 600 participants walking to honor those who have died from cancer and those who have survived.

The $137,000 raised is more than had been garnered in previous years.
