Monday:

Tuesday:

Ridgewood council members will be continuing to chip away at the budget at Village Hall starting at 6 p.m. The big two budgets on the list are the library and the water department.

Tuesday is the last day to register to vote for the April school elections in Ridgewood. Two incumbents are running unopposed, but villagers can still vote on the budget, which is proposed at the maximum 2 percent cap.

Wednesday:

The Ridgewood council will hold a meeting at 8 p.m. A PSE&G rep will talk about the Sandy response, the officials will talk about the county's dispatch proposal and the cost of village events, among other subjects.

Glen Rock council officials will also have their public meeting at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Ridgewood school officials will be holding the public budget hearing at 7:30 p.m. at the Education Center on Cottage Place.

Thursday:

Friday

Glen Rock and Ridgewood schools will be closed for Good Friday. Municipal offices in both towns will also be closed and there will be no refuse collection.

Saturday

Today Show "personality" (whatever that means) and author Jill Martin will be signing copies of her new book with co-author Dana Ravitch at Bookends at 1 p.m. Copies of "Weekend Makeover" are available on March 26.

The Easter Bunny having breakfast at Ridgewood's The Office from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. He'll be at Van Neste Square to hang out with kids until 2 p.m. The chamber of commerce is putting the event together.
