The Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra held a memorial for former member Tyler Clementi, the gifted violinist who took his own life last fall after allegedly being bullied by two Rutgers University dormmates. His memory was dedicated by the Symphony Orchestra with the Tyler Clementi Assistant Concertmaster Chair as well as a scholarship in his name.

The Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra held a concert on Friday dedicated to the memory of its gifted former member Tyler Clementi, whose tragic death left an indelible mark on those who knew him. Clementi had been a violinist in the Symphony Orchestra as a student at Ridgewood High School – a concert chair was created for him as well as a scholarship. See the video for more.
