Wednesday: Be Fashionable at Bookends

Today Show fashion contributor Jill Martin signing her book at Bookends today

1) Today Show Fashion Contributor Jill Martin will sign her new book I have Nothing To Wear at Bookends at 7:00 p.m. Fashion stylist Dana Ravich will also be there.

2) Village Engineer Chris Rutishauser said at the planning board meeting Wednesday that the railroad company had not properly made notice on their major soil permit and have to re-notice and reappear. As the mayor graciously told a citizen here yesterday, the railway is "planning on removing their main-line bridge and replacing it with a culvert pipe and fill to elevation of existing track."

3) If you missed it the first time, you can didgeridoo at the library at 11:00 a.m. (Yes, this one is for the kids.)

4) The weather should be a nice 89 degrees with a gentle breeze. The kicker? Sun!

5) Ridgewood/Brooklyn indie label "Underwater Peoples" has been named by Billboard as the 8th-best indie record label out there. The label began with the indie pop scene in Ridgewood but now includes more adventurous outfits from Brooklyn and Australia.
