Today is Sunday, a time when I can sleep and when my wife goes into the backyard to work her magic on her garden.
I woke up to the cacophony of the sounds of my neighbor's lawnmower and weed wacker at full tilt. This is a sound that reminds me that it is time to give my own lawn a trim. My wife was nowhere to be found, so I assumed that she had left to drop off our son at Sunday school. Upon her return, our Subaru was filled with all manner of plants and flowers that my wife was going to incorporate into our landscaping. I asked her "Where did you go?" and with a smile she said that she had gone to Perry's Florist.
For those of you that don't know Perry's Florist, it is a flower shop, plant store, farm all rolled up into one location. We get most of our plants from Perry's.
There really are two simple reasons for our loyalty. Their plants are top grade and we have had great success with what we have purchased at this business. The second reason is that they are just plain nice.
For these two reasons alone, they have made it on my list of the "Good Stuff" in Glen Rock. The personal touch is so important to us and at Perry's that is what you get.
