Big night tonight in our Westwood NhN group at the library we had 8 new members and total attendance of 13. Burt and Ralph are doing a great job facilitating that meeting and have been working hard to get the word out.

We know from running these meetings for 14 months and counting, that the ideal size weekly group is 12-20 as that allows for us to run the personal style we have become well known for. We began to have a problem in our Ridgewood location because our facilitator there Jaqcun Weiss and her other backups did such a great job we had three weeks where our meetings grew from 28-35 members in attendance, that was a problem not only because we had exceeded the room limit but there meeting was not much more than the 2 min elevator pitch that we have each member do at the beginning of the meeting each week. 

The Ridgewood meeting has been the model we are very proud of and we have had a lot of success stories coming out of that meeting.  We held our first ever combinded meeting inviting 6 guest speakers on Jan 27th 2012 and filled the room with 180 members. We had 300 members at that time, here we are 3 months later with 500 members and 92 success stories.. an amazing credit to what volunteers who are committed to each other can do. We call this a "pay it forward" model, and the members have all recieved so much in return.

We have meetings all over Bergen County, Passaic, Essex, Morris and soon in Union. 

Here is our list of meeting locations, NhN members are free to attend any of these locations and we encourage the members to attend different ones to get to meet all the great people we have involved in our group. We also are always looking for volunteers to help facilitate our meetings.

Our NhN Group is now up to 16 library programs with two new programs coming to Cranford and Hasbrouck Heights.

Cedar Grove Library – Thursdays at 6:30pm

Fair Lawn Library – Mondays at 7pm

Ringwood Library – Tuesdays at 10:30am.

Oakland Library – Thursdays at 10:30am.

Emerson Library – Tuesdays at 7pm.

Oradell Library – Tuesday every other week at 1:00pm

Cranford Library – Wednesdays at 7pm beginning April 25^th

Hasbrouck Heights – Mondays at 1pm beginning April 30 th
