Why post a complaint when all you have to do is have a chat with Bookends owners? They are gracious Read Moreand accessible. I'm proud of this amazing space that can bring such diverse book events to our town. They are an institution here, and we should be grateful to have them. Oh and the attendees bring lots of commerce to the downtown businesses. Perhaps you should speak to the Chamber, maybe they can kick in an idea or two on how to assist with handling trash and 'valet' seating.

Sandra, Why focus on the negative? it sounds like a bit of jealously. Hosting Hillary Clinton andRead Moreal l that it entails is immense and a challenge from all fronts. You have know idea what is involved. Bookends brings so much business to this town, supports our schools and does much more for our community. Easy to sit back and criticize. The procedures were up on Bookends website and also in the THE RECORD from day one. I phoned them and they gave me the procedures for the day and were very, very cordial. Also, when I went to pick up my book the procedures were posted at the front counter. As Hillary would say, "it takes a village". Sandra, why not try and support ours, including Bookends!

I have known the owners of Book Ends for many years. They have been involved in many communityRead Moreeven ts and are very generous people. Please stop bashing. I have been to many book signings. Book Ends attract many authors, celebrities and non celebrities. Again, please stop the "bashing."

He needs to win by 40-50k in Bergen... if he keeps pounding on issues like this he's going in theRead Moreri ght direction...and the 61 cents for every dollar to dc should resonate with the stay at homes and (hopefully) get them to the polls..
