8th Annual Wiffle for Cancer Tournament
The 8th annual Wiffle for Cancer tournament to benefit the Nick Currey Fund for Ewing sarcoma research will be held on Sunday, June 10th starting at 12:00 Noon, rain or shine (but hopefully shine!), at Ridgewood High School, 627 East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, New Jersey. (Check-in begins at 11:30 am.)
The tournament is held each year in memory of Nick Currey, a 2004 graduate of Ridgewood High School who passed away in November 2005 at the age of 19 after a 14-month battle with Ewing sarcoma. The tournament’s purpose is to remember Nick and his upbeat, charismatic personality and to raise awareness and funds for research to find a cure for the disease that took his life.
Registration is $50 per team. Complete information about the tournament, including registration to play and sponsorship opportunities, can be found at www.wiffleforcancer.org.
