LEND A HELPING HAND on Make A Difference Day with Ridgewood Parks and Recreation Saturday, October 24th; is designated “Make a Difference Day”, a national day of doing good. The Ridgewood Department of Parks and Recreation invites residents of all ages (under 14 must be accompanied by an adult) to join this worthy cause and certainly make a difference!
Participants will again work together to build panels to be transferred to homes currently under construction through Habitat for Humanity. Please bring a hammer!
Pre-registration is necessary. A $ 20.00 fee, payable to Ridgewood Parks and Recreation, will include a free t-shirt. Register in person or by mail: The Stable, 259 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450. The Recreation Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You may also register online at www.ridgewoodsports.org , (under Village Parks and Recreation).
