This 34,000-square foot library has an extensive collection of books, periodicals and multimedia resources. As a member of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System, the library also has access to the five million titles within that consortium. Additionally, the library has a swap program to obtain old and out-of-print books.

The Ridgewood Public Library also hosts a number of events including book circles, movie showings, poetry readings and concert series.
