Memorial Day

I am one of the many who are lucky. My Father served in the U.S Army from May 11, 1942 to December 8, 1945. He was fortunate to be able to come home and have a family. Had he not returned home I would not be here today.

On this Memorial Day I give thanks and honor to all of the men and women Solders, Airmen, Seamen and Marines who did not make it home from a war to have a family. Many who served and died on the battle field were between the ages of 18 and 25. Today they do not have sons or daughters to remember them and their service and sacrifice to keep this great Nation free.

Today I will remember those men and women who gave their lives as their son or daughter would if they were alive today.......
