Four of the five members of the winning band 'Fancy Reagan' are from Bergen County.

Four of the five members of Fancy Reagan, the band that recently won VH1's reality show Make a Band Famous, are from Bergen County.

According to a release from the band, though it is based in NYC now, most of its members are "Bergen County Boys:"

  • Chris Tsaganeas of Dumont
  • Bobby Kay of Washington Township
  • Rich Fuchs of Little Ferry
  • Jason Krebs of Glen Rock
  • Lead Singer Sean Michael Murray is the only non-Bergen member. He is originally from South Portland, Maine.

Fancy Reagan came out on top of VH1's contest, which saw 2,500 unsigned artists enter by posting audition clips on Instagram, a NorthJersey.com report said. The band competed in challenges to beat out 23 other finalists in a 24-hour lifestream competition, and won a record deal with Republic Records and a promotional campaign with VH1, the report said.
