'Rock House' Concert to Benefit Glen Rock Schools

Glen Rock Education Foundation seeking musicians to perform at September concerts.

The Glen Rock Education Foundation is seeking local bands and solo artists for a two-night concert event this fall at the Glen Rock Athletic Club.

“Bands are invited to perform published (and recognized) songs — no original music is being played this time around,” event coordinator Patti McHugh said in a press release.

Each band will perform three songs – one from the '60s, one from the '70s, and one from the '80s. Solo artists will perform one song from any of the three decades for "Rock House," an event created to promote local musicians and raise money for the non-profit organization.

The event features youth performers on Friday, Sept. 20 and adult performers on Saturday, Sept. 21. Artists are required to sign up in advance.

Registration can be found here. Check out the group's Facebook page for more information.
