VIDEO: Jersey Shore's JWoww Wows Ridgewood, Sells Out First-Ever Book Signing

Star of raunchy reality show Jersey Shore, JWoww was at Bookends to sign her new book "The World According to JWoww" and 800 fans braved the extreme cold to join her.

Approximately 800 fans packed the crowded store and snaked down East Ridgewood Avenue in the bitter cold to grab an autographed copy of Jersey Shore cast member Jenni “JWoww” Farley’s new book The Rules According to JWoww, which debuted on Tuesday.

“We’re having a very good turnout, the show is very popular,” said Bookends owner Walter Boyer as hundreds of adolescent girls waited their turn to catch the star of the controversial show, pose for a picture and exchange a few words. “It’s a younger demographic [today], mostly girls. Normally you’d think there’d be more guys here but it’s about three quarters girls,” he added.

One of those star-struck fans who attended is 17-year-old Dakota Fego, who traveled nearly an hour from the Sussex County area just to see her favorite Jersey Shore cast member and get her book signed. “Since the first episode [I’ve been watching], I’ve been crazy [about the show]; I love it,” she said.

JWoww’s book is a published creation of her own rules to dating and provides tips to her readers how to land “a mint guy”. “I think she’s really upfront about things, she seems personable and realistic about things,” added Fego.

As the store began to get more and more crowded with the anticipation of JWoww’s arrival, Boyer remained calm and collected. With some of the lit-world's biggest names having walked up and down those staircases, he's used to having his store mobbed with crowds of avid fans. “We’ve owned the store since 2002, we do about 80-100 signings a year,” said Boyer.

Boyer noted that the author signings for Bookends are so successful due to the various methods of promotion which the store takes part in. “My wife is tweeting, and we’re sending out email blasts,” said Boyer.

The work by Boyer and his staff has shown, as they are attracting readers from around the region. “There are some people here from the Poconos, all over New Jersey, and New York State, we get people to drive here from out of state and that’s a real credit to the program,” he added.

The bronze Long Island girl announced on her Twitter page shortly after the show that she sold out her first book signing and thanked the fans who came out to see her. "Sold out my 1st signing! Unreal! Over 800 people showed up! Thank u to all my fans!!! Love u all!" she wrote while individually thanking fans on their own Twitter pages.

Farley isn't the only cast member of the infamous cast to appear in the village– promoting his new book, which details how to get the "gym, tan, laundry" work done while avoiding "grenades" (unsavory ladies in his view).

The ab-magnate also had a sizable crowd on a less-than-ideal day of weather (the December Sunday featured torrential downpours) and the two Italian stars have been among the more popular featured authors at Bookends.

Both JWoww and The Situation will be stationed overseas in Italy, the ancestral home of the cast, for the fourth season of the insanely popular show.

Bookends will continue to have a star-packed month of February signings including WWE’s Chris Jericho on Feb. 15, and Dancing with the Stars Champion Cheryl Burke on Feb. 16.
