Color Me Mine Now Creatively Yours

The make-your-own-art shop formerly known as franchise "Color Me Mine" is now independently owned and reborn as "Creatively Yours."

The long-time art franchise is now an independent shop, cheekily named "Creatively Yours."

There are a few notable changes now that Creatively Yours has shed the franchise tag, co-owner Geary Wittman said.

The store, located at 254 E. Ridgewood Ave., has been re-painted and decorated and there's now a focus on glass fusion creations to accompany the ceramic painting.

Summer camp spots are still open for children six years of age and up, where they learn how to work with clay and ceramics.

Creatively Yours also does corporate events, childrens birthdays, ladies nights, Girl Scout parties and accepts walk-ins.

"It's good for any age," Wittmann said. "You come for the experience to learn." People from as far as Manhattan stop by to craft their own artwork and it's not rare to see a wedding engagement there either, he said.

The store is open on Monday from 12-5, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11-7, Thursday and Friday from 11 to 9, Saturday from 12-7 and Sunday from 12-6.

the new owners are AMAZING, loving, kind hearted. so if past experiences were because of unfriendly staff, the experience will be very different in the future. Good Luck with the Creatively Yours. can't wait to take my 3 kids there!

Andrea I assume you are talking about the new Color me Mine now opening up the road from the old site?? This is where the new owners are, the Creatively yours is the same owners that everyone is talking about.

The owners are nasty to the customers. I will not return. My friends and I will take our business to the new Color Me Mine up the road. The people running that establishment know how to make their customers feel wanted.

I WOULD ONLY GO TO COLOR ME MINE, not Creatively Yours...!
