New Formal Wear Boutique Opens on Ridgewood Ave.

The doors at the former location of designer Yansi Fugel’s flagship Ridgewood store are once again open, with a new boutique stepping in to fill the space with formal attire.

After two years on South Walnut Street, Suite 201 began planning last fall to open the new store at 66 East Ridgewood Avenue. But the original store isn’t going anywhere.

“Social by Suite 201,” which opened Friday, supplements the boutique’s inventory with more formal attire and accessories for Sweet 16s, proms, weddings and other occasions.

Owner Alina Leshiner previously told Patch the second location, only a couple blocks away from their first, was chosen for convenient customer access to the new collection.
