Two Ridgewood Restaurants Make 'Best Breakfasts in NJ' List

New Jersey Monthly ranked 57 restaurants across the state.

Locals looking for a top notch breakfast need not go that far.

Two Ridgewood eateries were ranked in a list of the best breakfast spots in the state by NJ Monthly earlier this month.

The “Best Breakfasts” list included both the Country Pancake House and Raymond’s.

The ranking called the Country Pancake House, “the bustling home of the four-egg omelet,” and pointed out its 112 varieties of oversized pancakes.

“CPH delivers quality as well as quantity in every breakfast category,” the ranking said.

The Ridgewood location of Raymond’s also made the list. The ranking calls the restaurant a romantic evocation of a 1940’s diner.

“Raymond’s remains unmatched at what it sets out to do—deliver expertly crafted comfort food at reasonable prices in a setting so hip and faux timeless you just hate to leave,” the list said.

Several other Bergen County eateries made the ranking, including the Rutherford Pancake House, La Vie En Rose in Waldwick, Just Janice in Ho-Ho-Kus, and Chillers Grill and the Original Pancake House in Fort Lee. See the full list here
