Upscale Steakhouse Opens in Ridgewood

Roots has opened its first Bergen County location at the former Blend Nightclub spot on Chestnut Street, report says.

A new steakhouse is open in Ridgewood.

According to BoozyBurbs.com, the months-long construction at the former Blend nightclub location on Chestnut Street in Ridgewood is complete, and the new Roots Steakhouse is open.

The 140-seat restaurant will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, and plans to serve both wet and dry aged steaks, the report said.

It's described as an upscale steakhouse, and is the first Bergen County location of three Roots Steakhouses in New Jersey, the post says.

The restaurant is also planning to build out the bottom floor to be a private dining area, it said.

here we go again with the parking whiners again... there's plenty of parking in town - just not immediately in front of the store you want to visit. It's okay to walk a few blocks.
