Three men in a car attempted to lure a Ridgewood middle school student on Friday before fleeing toward Glen Rock. 

A 73-year-old man's car flipped after he struck a tree on Van Emburgh Avenue, sending his 17-year-old passenger to the hospital.

Without explanation, Glen Rock council candidate Howard Fox elected not to participate in the League of Women Voters sponsored debate Monday night. The council portion therefore was cancelled, though school board candidate portion still was held.
