Glen Rock Man Accused of Embezzling $60K From Youth Soccer Club: "I Apologize"

It remains unclear what motivated Sean Corry to embezzle from the Glen Rock Shooting Stars, but the club's former treasurer said he is remorseful. It's very likely Corry will not have a criminal record when he completes restitution payments.

A 17-year-old girl suffered serious injuries when an SUV unexpectedly went off road and struck her while she was standing in her N. Pleasant Ave. driveway. 

Ridgewood police said a 24-year-old Westwood man who violently struck a tree on Lincoln Avenue was under the influence of heroin at the time of the crash. Police claimed to have found hypodermic needles, heroin and drug paraphernalia in the car.

Authorities Remove Black Bear 'Holly' From Glen Rock Tree

A state Fish and Game employee shot a 220 lbs. black bear with a tranquilizer gun in a residential neighborhood in Glen Rock. The bear, dubbed "Holly" by neighbors, was relocated to a no-hunt state park.

Citing sources, we reported Raymond's would be opening in the second week of December. The co-owner denied a date was selected; the Ridgewood restaurant then opened the second Monday of December.
