Report: Judge Dismisses Ridgewood Man's 'No-Cash-in-Cabin' Lawsuit

Michael W. Rosen filed a suit alleging damages against Continental Airlines for not accepting cash

A state superior court justice has dismissed a Ridgewood man's lawsuit that claimed damages from Continental Airlines after the airline denied him an alcoholic beverage and in-flight entertainment as part of its "no cash in cabin" policy, Consumer Affairs is reporting.

Michael W Rosen not enabling him to pay with cash for both an alcoholic beverage and a set of headphones on a ten-hour flight from Hawaii to Newark in January of 2010.

The judge said Rosen did not present enough evidence to challenge the statute, according to Consumer Affairs. He may appeal the decision, Rosen told a reporter.
