Saturday: Register for Soccer, Asian Festival

See the five things to know on Saturday.

1) It may be spring but the . The RSA has opened up registration through May 15 for a number of programs across all skill levels. In-town teams are offered for kids in grades 1-4 and travel teams go for grades 5-12. Special needs sessions are organized for ages 5-14. KinderKickers is a fun program that introduces 4 and 5 year olds in preschool and kindergarten to soccer.  Fall KinderKicker registration will begin June 1.

2) Don't miss it! Asian Festival will be starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday with proceeds going to those battling through the awful recent events in Japan. Prices range from $3 to $5 depending on age.

3) Bookends is another spot you should certainly check out. There will be two and an editor of Sports Illustrated to talk Joltin' Joe and the meaning of the number 56.

4) Head to the from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and grab some goodies.

5) The girls softball team will be playing at IHA for the Berge/Essex challenge at 4:00 p.m. The girls will take on Nutley.
