Sunday: NY Times Writer and Novelist Janet Elder Will Speak at Library

See four other interesting things of note on a rainy Sunday.

1) The youth group will be grabbing some pizza and soft drinks then heading out for some golf in Paramus beginning at 11:30 a.m. Parents can pick children up at 2 p.m. The suggested donation is $10.

2) The CantaLyrica chamber chorus will perform arias, art songs, folk music, and pieces from Broadway musicals from 6 to 10 p.m. at the . There will also be an auction and refreshments at the event. $25 per person or $40 for a pair.

3) It will still be fairly temperate but the weather will be wet. The forecast Sunday calls for a high near 54 with some wind. The chance of precipitation is 100% with anywhere between a half to three quarters of an inch possible. The area is under a hazardous flood watch.

4) Robert Muraszewski of Ridgewood was honored as a Skillful Angler in 2010 for his catch of an 8 lbs, 7 oz. Walleye he caught on October 10 in Lake Hopactong. The fish measured 29 inches in length and had a 16.5-inch girth.
