This Week: School Boards Meet, Movies After Dark

Check out what's going on during summer's last week.

A number of boards in the borough and village will be conducting meetings during the last week of summer. There will also be swim days at the Glen Rock pool and movie nights in both towns. See below for a bit more of what's going on this week.


  • Board of Education members in Ridgewood will be meeting at 5 p.m. at the . An agenda for the meeting has not yet been posted.
  • At 8 p.m., the Glen Rock Board of Education will be meeting. Officials are expected to address what will happen given the revelation that the .
  • The Glen Rock Borough Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. for a work session meeting in . An agenda has not been posted.
  • The Glen Rock Municipal Pool will be open for a late night swim session at 8 p.m.


  • Get out the blankets and sit beneath the stars to catch "We Bought a Zoo" at . Action starts at dusk.


  • The Glen Rock Borough Council will be meeting at 8 p.m. for a regular public meeting.
  • There will be karaoke at the at 8 p.m. Bring a towel and some shame.


  • It's Ridgewood's turn for some movie magic. Head to  to catch "Breakfast at Tiffany's" at about 9 p.m.

It's "revelation," not "relevation." And it's Memorial Park at Van Neste Square, not "Van Neste Square Park." Fatigue seems to have gotten the better of you at 4:30 in the morning

I'll hone up to slipping up on "revelation," but I think pointing out that it's "Memorial Park at Van Neste Square" is just being picky. But yes, I was pretty sleepy when I wrote this. Thanks for catching it.

Relax James, it's just the new 'spell ckex' watchers' that attend GOP conventions. Busy week coming folks. some new convention topics needed James. Perhaps that will keep visitors a little busy this week.
