Community Corner

Citizens For Swimming

Citizens
For Swimming, founded in 1968, is a program which brings children, PreK through
8th grade, from Paterson's CAMP
YDP summer program to Graydon Pool in Ridgewood to enjoy summer fun in the water and to receive
swimming instruction. Citizens For Swimming has always had close ties to The
Unitarian Society of Ridgewood. Citizens For Swimming needs funds to pay for
the kids' discounted pool passes and to help CAMP cover their bus costs. We
also need volunteers. CAMP kids come with their own teachers and staff but we
need extra hands to make sure everyone has a fun and safe experience. Please
consider donating both some money and some time!

Youth are welcome to volunteer and if you have younger children feel free to
bring them with you to play while you help out.

Please call Ann Pareti at The Unitarian Society of Ridgewood at 201-444-6225 if
you would like to donate money to this useful cause or if you would like to
volunteer your time at Graydon Pool.  All
days are from 1:30-5:00 p.m. Below is the schedule:
