The Collection

The Collection is an exhibit celebrating 60 years of preservation efforts and showcasing the museum's treasured artifacts. On exhibit are 19th century textiles, pottery, wooden kitchen and farm tools, men and women's clothing, spectacles, toys, baskets, children's chairs, and musical instruments. Also on display are military artifacts and a uniform from the Spanish-American War. Trained docents are available to guide you through the exhibit.

The Schoolhouse Museum is housed in a one-room schoolhouse that was built in 1872 and was an operational school until 1905.
