The operatic world had a banner year in 1813 with the birth of two giants, both of
whom transformed the experience of opera. Highlights of this concert will
include masterpieces from Verdi’s Nabucco, Il Trovatore, Traviata, La Forza del
Destino and from Wagner’s Tannhäuser, Lohengrin, Die Walküre, Die
Meistersinger.
