Preserve the Thielke/Glen Rock Arboretum

On Saturday, July 26, 2014,
from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
,
The Thielke/Glen Rock Arboretum, located at 460 Doremus Avenue, Glen Rock,  is offering a morning to deepen your
relationship with nature and help refurbish the Arboretum flower beds     The Arboretum, which is a non-profit 501(C)
3 organization,  is in great  need of your volunteer services on this
special morning to help with grooming the flower beds, all the while partaking
of the healthful and healing associated with being in nature.  In return, we will also help you identify the
green growing things to keep or pull in your own yard or garden.    In addition, we will provide you with a fun
Scavenger Hunt activity!

Can't spend the whole morning?   No problem- spend as little or as much time
as suits your schedule.  We welcome your
presence!  Join us for tea and sharing at
noon or bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the beauty of the environment after our
work session.

     Bring your favorite garden gloves,
pruners, and trowels.   Don't have these things-don't
worry, we have extras.  Oh, and don't
forget, bring the family!  This is a
great opportunity for a shared family experience!  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an
adult.  This is a weather related
event.  Our rain date is Saturday, August
2, 2014, same time, same place.
