Sweet Tastes of Torah

Register online at: www.sweettastesoftorah.weebly.com

Sweet Tastes of Torah was launched in February 2010 by the North Jersey Board of Rabbis (NJBR).  NJBR members—rabbis of all streams of Judaism, who live or work in Bergen, North Hudson, or eastern Passaic counties—wanted to share their love of Torah, their love of teaching, and their love of learning with the community. Each Sweet Tastes of Torah focuses on the theme of the parsha of the week. This year, we will explore Building a Mishkan: Making Room for God in Our Lives.

The evening starts with Havdalah and is followed by two sessions of one-hour classes (you'll have the opportunity to pick two classes!). We know that it's short...but that's the idea of the evening...to give you a nibble, to give you a taste of Torah in the hopes that it will stimulate your appetite for more learning. Additional classes are offered by the rabbis at their synagogues and other venues throughout the year.

The evening ends with another nosh—dessert—and time to schmooze with friends.
