Ridgewood's William J. Bradley III Dies at 52

The father of two was an attorney and U.S. Marine veteran.

Attorney and military veteran William James Bradley III died Friday, March 22 at the age of 52, according to his obituary.

The son of Mae and the late William Bradley II, Ridgewood's William "Bill" Bradley III was the beloved husband of Linda (nee: Edelman) Bradley, and the father of Rachel Lynn and Sarah Beth. He also leaves behind a sister, Sharon Rukes.

According to his obituary, the deceased was born into a military family, spending his high school years in Massachusetts. He received a degree from the Virginia Military Institute and served with the U.S. Marine Corps. from 1982-1987, earning honors of distinction.

He later became an attorney, graduating from the University of Richmond School of Law, the obituary states. Following a stint at a Richmond law firm, he became a partner with the Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauser and Feld law firm in New York City. He was a principal partner of Malaby & Bradley at the time of his death.

Friends and family can visit on Thursday between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at Feeney Funeral Home. The funeral service starts at 12:30 p.m., with burial at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
