Authorities Rush to Three Car Accidents in One Hour

Several persons were taken to local hospitals between 1:30 and 2:30 Sunday afternoon in three separate car accidents

Emergency personnel had little rest Sunday afternoon, responding to three separate motor vehicle accidents in an hour.

Police extricated a young woman on Garber Square after her red Honda Accord hit the median and flipped on the southbound side just after 1:30 p.m. Ridgewood Fire Department Cpt. Chris Dufloqc said the victim's injuries appeared minor and she was taken to Valley Hospital. Garber Square southbound was closed for approximately 45 minutes.

Minutes later, EMS and police responders were summoned to Franklin Avenue near the intersection of Oak Street. A red sedan appeared to have rear-ended an SUV. There was a report of minor injuries, responders told Patch.
