Cops: Cash, Tea Set, Picnic Table Stolen from Ridgewood Homes

Cops say burglars allegedly targeted two village houses over the past week.

The past week has seen two alleged thefts from Ridgewood homes, according to a release from the village police department Wednesday.

Last Thursday, a Cantrell Road resident said his home had been broken into, police said. The resident reported cash stolen from a purse and a silver tea set taken, cops said. Police did not say how much money was stolen or how the alleged burglars got into the home.

In a separate incident on Monday, a North Pleasant Avenue resident reported a children’s picnic table and cooler were stolen from her front lawn, police said.
