A Glen Rock man who was thrown out of a basement card game allegedly returned to the card table to shoot at one of the other players, nj.com reported.
According to the report, Michael “Mook” Williamson was kicked out of a card game in the basement of an Englewood home on May 2. Police say he returned to the home with a loaded handgun and shot at the man he had argued with, the report said.
The man was not hit, but police found several shell casings at the scene, and one bullet went through the front window of an elderly neighbor's house, the report said.
Cops say they caught up with Williamson in Englewood on May 6. According to nj.com, Williamson allegedly ran from the cops through several Englewood backyards, jumped a fence, and threw his car keys and a bag of crack cocaine packaged for distribution before police caught up with him.
Cops say they also found a loaded semi-automatic that was not the gun he allegedly used in the card game shooting, the report said.
Williamson is being held on several weapons and drug-related charges at the Bergen County Jail on $1 million bail, the report said.
