Glen Rock Police Blotter: Drunk Man at Library, Burglary Report

This week from the Glen Rock Police Department

Wednesday — March 9, 8:45 p.m.

staff called the Glen Rock Police Department to report an intoxicated male in the building. Police found a 56-year-old male from Paramus sitting at a library computer with a Budweiser. When he refused to leave GRPD escorted him out and transported him to the Paramus border. No charges were filed against the man.

A Doremus Avenue resident reported to police that a Dolce & Gabbana purse had been stolenfrom her home sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday. Officers checked the house and found no signs of forced entry. The woman said the missing purse contained cash, an iPod and a digital camera. Later on Friday a Rutland Road resident found the purse called police. When returned, the purse was  missing the money, iPod and digital camera. The detective buruea is following up on the incident.
