Kew Management Burgalized

Police blotter Jan. 21 to Jan. 25

A Kew Management employee reported Jan. 25 that the office at 125 South Maple Avenue had been burglarized. Entry was gained through a basement window, police said.

A cash machine was then pried open and an undetermined amount of money was taken.

The incident is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau and the Bergen County Sheriff's Department BCI.

  • A Midwood Road resident reported Jan. 21 that he returned home at 8 p.m. to found his home burglarized. Entry was gained through a rear door, and multiple rooms were ransacked, police said. It was undetermined what had been taken. The incident is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau and the Bergen County Sherriff's Department BCI.
  • A Ridgewood resident reported Jan. 23 that while his son was at basketball practice Jan.15 at Benjamin Franklin Middle School, his cellular phone was stolen. The matter is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau.
  • A Prospect Street resident reported Jan. 25 her lamppost at the end of her driveway was damaged overnight. The resident told police that this has occurred numerous times in the past.
