Man Arrested on Drug Charges on Lincoln Ave.

Police blotter June 22 to June 28.

Police arrested a man last week on drug charges following a motor vehicle stop.

Christian Salas-Quiroz was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of controlled substance in a motor vehicle June 24 at 1 p.m.

Ptl. Sean Amoruso conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lincoln Avenue on Salas-Quiroz's vehicle. During the stop, Amoruso said he detected the odor of burnt marijuana and searched the vehicle. He said he found a bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Salas-Quiroz was released pending a date in Ridgewood Municipal Court.

  • Patrol responded to a report of a shoplifter at Rite Aid Pharmacy on East Ridgewood Avenue June 22. Police arrested Terisa Ziolkowski, 36, of Ringwood and charged her with shoplifting. The accused was released pending a future appearance in Ridgewood Municipal Court.
  • A Saddle River resident reported June 24 that while she was in the Hot Box Jewelry she lost or had her wallet stolen. The wallet was found down the street, and the cash that was in the wallet was missing. The matter is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau.
  • Patrol responded to a report of a disruptive passenger at the park and ride bus terminal June 27. Alexander Ivanenko, 27, of Brooklyn, NY, was removed from the bus and arrested on an active warrant from Atlantic City. No new charges were filed for the Ridgewood incident, police said.
