Pedestrian Struck, Taken to Valley
Feb. 4 accident happened at Spring and Van Dien Avenues.
An early morning accident last week resulted in a pedestrian being struck.
While crossing over South Van Dien Avenue on Spring Avenue, a pedestrian was struck Feb. 4 after 6 a.m., Ridgewood police said.
The motorist stopped at the disjointed intersection with a four-way stop, and hit the pedestrian while proceeding.

No obvious signs of injury were visible, Det. Chris McDowell said, but the pedestrian was taken to The Valley Hospital for precautionary purposes.
No charges were filed, he said.
