Mystery Man Breaks Into School, Kids Swim Graydon at 2:30 A.M.

Police investigating how a male gained entry to Ridgewood's Ben Franklin Middle School Sunday night.

Some youth have been causing a bit of trouble in Ridgewood lately, according to village .

Although school may be out, one guy apparently just couldn't stay away. According to police, on Sunday at around 9 p.m., Ptl. John Ward Jr. observed a male – no further description was given – open a gymnasium door at . Police say the individual saw Ward's police car and ran back inside. Despite a search that included a K-9 dog, the suspect was not found. Nothing was reported missing from the middle school. Detectives are investigating.

At around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, Ptl. Joseph Youngberg saw three people swimming at . The trio reportedly fled but police say 18-year-old village resident Grace Miglioelli was nabbed. She was charged with defiant trespass. The others were later identified and junveile charges are pending, police said.
