Study will track traffic flow and speeds in the busy square and on surrounding streets.

Ridgewood Police will be using traffic plates and video recordings to conduct a traffic impact study of Garber Square over the next few weeks.

According to a recent post on the PD’s Facebook page, the study is part of the village’s Engineering, Education and Enforcement traffic safety initiative.

Ridgewood Police will be working with security video company Watch 24 Security to conduct the study, the post said.
