Villager Arrested After Threatening to Kill Man, Police Say

An 18-year-old villager told a Glen Rock mother he was going to kill her son, according to Glen Rock police.

A Ridgewood man was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats after allegedly threatening to kill a man last Thursday, according to police.

Cpt. Jonathan Miller said Daniel Gubb, 18, went to the Norwood Ave. home of a former friend in Glen Rock and yelled to the ex-friend's mother that he was going to track her son down and kill him.

The mother, according to Miller, called police with a description of the vehicle and description of the suspect. Gubb was brought to headquarters and was processed and released, Miller said.

Miller said he did not know what events led Gubb to allegedly make such statements to the mother. Gubb did not immediately return a message seeking comment left Tuesday night.
