Ridgewood Man Arrested on Drug Distribution Charges

Ryan Mulholland, 27, was arrested at his Pershing Avenue home Thursday night.

A 27-year-old man is facing charges of drug distribution after authorities raided a Ridgewood home Thursday night.

Armed with a search warrant, a dozen Bergen County Narcotics Task Force detectives and Ridgewood police officers descended on Pershing Avenue Thursday just after 6:30 p.m., multiple neighbors told Patch.

Ryan Mulholland, 27, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and distribution of marijuana/hashish, both 3rd degree offenses.

Detectives were seen removing items from the home, witnesses told Patch. Neighbors said Mulholland lives in the home – it was once his grandmother's house.

Mulholland posted $25,000 bail and was released later that night, according to jail records.

Details of the arrest and investigation have not been disclosed by law enforcement authorities.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli did not return requests for comment. Ridgewood police referred questions to the prosecutor's office.

Patch will update as more information becomes available.

Wow Steve T. You must be a saint! String him up. What, you've never smoked weed before? If you didn't, your kids do or will in the future, lets string them up. and they'll be getting it from the likes of Ryan Mulholland. Maybe they will be the future Mulholland. A young kid that sees that roughly 75% of his peers are smoking weed and maybe he can make an easy buck and help his friends out who we're smoking weed way before he came around. By the way the most he'll get is a year of probation for this "horrible" offense to the great town of Ridgewood.

I'd like to hear what else besides an occasional party or slinging a little reefer made him a bad seed. You clearly tried to hook up with him er something and he turned you down, or are you just pissed he didn't invite you to any of his parties. He is one of the best people I know, he would bend over backwards to help someone in need. Killyaself!

Good person who made a bad mistake. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. You people who post negatively on a subject you know little or nothing about really need to find a new hobby...

You should be a cop! You seem to have a lot of inside information...

Wow, so the losers at the Ridgewood Police Department have nothing better to do eh then to call the NARC SQUAD? Narcotics officers are scum of the earth and should be outed and villified and run out of our communities. I'd also like to point out that Bergen County has been home to the biggest legalized Cocaine trade on planet earth for the past 120 years. If you want to know who the real enemies are, they are the DEA facilitating corruption throughout New Jersey by protecting the government's cocaine cartel. Not Ryan!
