Ridgewood Man Sought by Police for Alleged Theft from Landscaper

Bryan J. Miller has been sought by Glen Rock Police for two weeks.

Two weeks after a midday theft of landscaping equipment, Glen Rock Police are still actively seeking a suspect identified by witnesses.

Bryan J. Miller, 49, whose last known address is in Ridgewood, is wanted for the theft of a backpack leaf blower valued at $700 that was quickly recovered, according to police.

Miller allegedly stole the equipment from a landscaping trailer in the area of Broad Street the afternoon of Nov. 6.

The crew witnessed him making off with the gear and chased him briefly on foot before Miller dropped the backpack and escaped, Detective Sgt. Eric Reamy said.

According to the detective, Miller is sought by other police agencies and is known to authorities from previous arrests, including prior charges of burglary and theft.
