July 7

Lawn Hit with Eggs, Toilet Paper 

A Kenilworth Road resident reported that eggs and toilet paper were thrown on her front lawn.

July 8

Plants Stolen

A Monte Vista Avenue resident reported that someone had stolen seven potted plants from her yard. 

Public Urination

A 74-year-old Ridgewood man was charged with public urination after a female alerted police. A Lyndhurst resident flagged down Officer Joseph Youngberg and reported that she had witnessed a man expose himself. Gerzars Andriamaminwina was identified, and police determined he had urinated on a tree. Andriamaminwina was released pending an appearance in Ridgewood Municipal Court.

July 10

Stolen Purse

A Hackensack resident reported that, while she was at work in an East Ridgewood Avenue business, her purse was stolen. The matter is under investigation by the Ridgewood Detective Bureau.

July 12

Chair Stolen

A Hillcrest Road resident reported that a chair was stolen from her yard during the night.
